For more than 60 years, the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has applied science and technology to make the world a safer place.

Lawrence Livermore employees raised $3.4 million for non-profit organizations in FY14 as part of the annual employee giving campaign. This total includes a $1 million match from Lawrence Livermore National Security LLC (LLNS), the Laboratory’s managing contractor. Additionally, LLNS awards $100,000 to local non-profits annually through the Community Gift Program, as well as annual gifts to the Tracy schools.

The main site in Livermore has 497 facilities (6.7 million gross square feet) on 820 acres. The Laboratory’s second site, named Site 300, in the hills between Livermore and Tracy has 216 facilities (0.4 million gross square feet) on 7,000 acres.
